AA Internal Transfer Question

Hey everyone! I’ve been working in material logistic stores and recently obtained my A&P license a few months ago. Last week, I was fortunate enough to be awarded an AMT-Line position at my current station. I’ve started the paperwork process, including submitting my information for the drug test and SIDA badge. However, my preferred station just opened up and I have good seniority for that position. I haven’t picked up a new SIDA badge or started the AMT position yet. I’m still working at my current station.
My question is, since I’ve already been awarded the AMT position at my current station but haven’t officially started yet, do I still have a chance of being awarded at the other station if I bid on it? Or does receiving the first award make me ineligible for another station?

Has anyone been in a similar situation, or does anyone know how this works?

You can email and have that awarded station get bypassed.. it also depends on how much time you have.. i would e-mail and also call the Pittsburgh Maintenance Administration to see what they got to say and how they can help you.

You might be cooked. From what i understand is if your awarded then you have to go. But I’ve never been in the situation so i can’t say for 100%

You can get it bypassed just put in bid for new location
