I know I should have been annoyed, but I found it kind of satisfying to look in the back of my van and everything was the same color. They got another driver with all orange that same day. So someone was definitely fucking with us 😅

Do you have a preference
I prefer not in a box so it doesn't fly in the back of the van every 2 seconds

I got 116 stops yesterday. Granted, I live in seattle and a lot of my route is up and down a lot of steps, but still. I had to get a rescue and another mini rescue to get my route done. I had only 17 bags and 25 oversized, 300 ish total packages. Easily organized in the van definetly no where close to a box out. How TF do you guys do 160+ with a box out? I commend you guys like god damn. I don't take breaks or lunch and I still have no idea how y'all do it.

[I not a driver obviously] Saw the tracking, saw they were on my road, I met them at the van to save them time. Before I walked off, I also I asked twice (because I order from multi accounts) if they needed a package photo and they said no.
I did not like being the subject of said photo. Do you have generally photo guidelines?

I know it was a flex driver but I had a close call myself doing a delivery with an owner walking out of their house with a firearm while i was walking back to my van. Dude walked right past the package. Anyone have similar stories?

It’s literally going to take me 10 minutes to get my carts ðŸ˜

This has happened THREE times to me and it’s always so awkward lol. Usually happens in the suburbs.
So basically a random person just so happens to be going on a walk along the route I’m delivering to, and I drive and stop beside them because the house I’m delivering is next to them, then they walk a bit and I finish my delivery, and then I drive to my next stop and they have walked right beside the house I’m delivering to next, so I stop beside them again and again and again, it’s so awkward and I feel like a creepðŸ˜

and then rush their ass inside before we can get a pic!?
I swear, when I see somebody waiting at the door, I go extra slow on purpose and like sort shit in my van for a minute to make them wait longer.

Yesterday I did my 1st solo shift. I get that ill get a little faster as time goes, but I see writing on the walls and fail to see how this shits possible without speeding or sprinting from van to door.
I didnt take a lunch, breaks, or even had time to piss in a bottle. My OV and boxes I wrote the D# on so its easier to see, small packs between the seat. I sort each tote by number (and up front) so I can grab and go.
Yesterday's shift was 170 packages and after a rescue it was 121 stops. Mostly country (its a small town so not quite country but country adjacent). I pulled into the station at 2140ish (shift was 0940-2140).
I thoight I was doing good, then I get a text from dispatch saying im 8 stops behind, pick up the pace. Then OFC ot starts raining and I go into a neighborhood where everyones got long precarious driveways which puts me even further behind.
I like the job, I like the exercise, jamming to tunes, im even fine with the no breaks or lunches. But fuck me how the hell do tall do this shit in time i never even stopped to piss in a fuxking bottle and still needed a rescue? No to mention peak seasons coming up. Theres no shit in hell im gonna be able to keep up at this rate.
Then im paranoid about the netradyne thing, rather than focusing on the road im constantly looking at my speedometer so im not going over for a violation, feels unsafe AF imho.

I am a driver trainer for my DSP and when I have a trainee their Flex asks for my helper alias. What does that allow me to do? My assumption was that I could login as well and see some of the route information or even deliver off the same set. But it doesn’t allow me that kind of thing. If I log into mine after that it asks me to start a van check too. Anyone know if there is any cool benefits that come with linking your alias? Tia

Word on the street is we wont be able to go 5mph over the speed limit. On top of not being able to put packages in the passenger seat or dashboard, Amazon is making really stupid decisions without reducing routes. At this point everyone is going to start getting OODT. Ive trained myself to consistently go 5 over so this is going to drive me insane.
