QUESTION Driver Helpers

I am a driver trainer for my DSP and when I have a trainee their Flex asks for my helper alias. What does that allow me to do? My assumption was that I could login as well and see some of the route information or even deliver off the same set. But it doesn’t allow me that kind of thing. If I log into mine after that it asks me to start a van check too. Anyone know if there is any cool benefits that come with linking your alias? Tia

I think thats whatever is on your badge.

Yes, the alias is on the badge. My question was whether or not entering it allowed me any access myself to the route. Someone else said it was just to note the trainee is with someone.

Nothing, it just verifies the trainee has a trainer assigned to them.

I trained probs a dozen drivers before I tapped out (it's hella unsafe and I was always on the clock for more than 10 hours). My alias never worked. You can hit the "?" in the top right corner and say, "I have a helper with me but their alias isn't working" or some shid like that.

No benefits come from using your alias.
