[Golden Wind] can diavolo use Epitaph to change fate or only King Crimson

Just saw this scenario in a video. Diavolo is walking down a path and uses epitaph to see he is fated to go left. Could he now choose to walk down the right path or would King Crimson be the only thing that would allow him to alter this fate

Epitaph is basically part of King Crimson, hence why it's on his face, without it's ability to see into the future using the time erasure wouldn't be as effective since Diavolo wouldn't know what fate he needs to avoid.

But as we see in the fight between it and Risotto's Metallica it can't really change fate because of the deterministic nature of the universe.

Like when he through he saw himself lose a foot and try to avoid it and then afterwards realized that he misinterpreted the prediction due to it's visual nature and what he saw was actually Risotto losing his foot not him.

So in your scenario he might see himself go left and choose to go right only to realize later that he saw the prediction mirrored for some reason and was always fated to go right.

Only when he uses both abilities simultaneously can he predict the future, then remove himself outside of time and therefore fate and then he can choose to not follow the prediction.

So no, only with King Crimson
