Cat potentially given 2 doses of metacam in one day
My 11year old cat has arthritis and had daily metacam to help he is 4kg with a 0.4ml dose (I belive anyway it number 4 on the 1ml syringe )
I saw his back was bothering him this evening and I thought myself, oh no I forgot his medication This morning, I then proceeded to give him medication (about 7.30pm)
And now i'm questioning myself whether or not I did this morning, if he has had two doses, will he be okay ? Its now 8.37pm so 1hr since and he seems his normal self and the dose this morning would have been around 8-9am

Assuming this is the standard 1.5mg/mL concentration and he is otherwise healthy then a single accidental double dose should not cause any issues. I’d wait until at least 24 hours have passed before giving another dose
