FULL TRANSLATION:
Cheating has occurred at the NVIDIA RTX SPARK event, and the winner got away with it.
Argument
Those who attended the event know what happened, but for those who didn't, I'll give a brief summary.
When the competition first started, many people couldn't see the questions and options displayed on the screen, and in the Kahoot interface, we could only select colored cards.
Meanwhile, someone with a MacBook was standing almost right next to me at the back of the store, using the touchpad while holding it – don't forget that!
I couldn't see this person's username, of course, I wasn't sure, but they were the first person to correctly answer this question, which didn't have an incorrect answer visible. LET'S JUST LET THIS BE A COINCIDENCE.
In the first round of the next three competitions, each question was worth a maximum of 1000 points, and the same person who answered this incorrect question correctly received a PERFECT SCORE on all those questions and won the first laptop.
SO WHY DO I SUSPECT THERE WAS CHEATING?
I certainly didn't think this person would cheat until they won, however...
Even I, as someone who answers questions almost instantly, only managed a maximum of 990 points, so it bothered me at first that some people got perfect scores this way. But I've noticed something and I'm asking you about it.
If you were standing in a competition, could you instantly move the cursor to the correct question using the touchpad on your laptop, beating almost everyone with a phone by millimeters? Let's say that happened; could you have such miraculous reflexes and reaction time that you could be the first to answer 9 questions in a row? I don't think so.
I understood what was happening when I saw that the person had won. Even though I reported it to the officials, none of them paid any attention to me.
The device is already expensive, and putting aside the price, it's a signed collector's item, so to speak. The fact that someone cheated by using a simple GitHub repository to acquire such a device with high material and sentimental value, infringing on the rights of 1500 people present, and getting away with it, really bothers me. I might not have won, you might not have won, or you might not have participated, but I don't want to ignore this and let them get away with it.
There are in-store cameras that can see the person during the competition, so their actions can be monitored. It wasn't just me; everyone I spoke to, even strangers, agreed on this point. In any case, neither the host nor the other officials mentioned it.
I tried to contact Enis, Onur Naci, Erhan, the Nvidia Turkey team, and Vatan's admin regarding this matter, as they were all presenters and guests, but I received no response. This needs to be investigated, and the device needs to be returned to the person; everyone's rights have been violated.
