Mod Making a mod that adds Minecraft blocks to beamng
330 blocks so far , and they are extremely light on your system :)

It would be nice if the weight was well simulated, like the gold block weighing 20 tons or so like it was calculated. Although I don't know if that would work inside the game, lol

I mean, I don't see why weight wouldn't work. ALSO 1 gold block is 1 m3 of gold, (Googled, around 19.32 tons), so yea, idk I am just yapping, have a good day

What kind of wheight do they have is it same for all or do they have semi realistic to what they would weight realistically and do they have deformation of any kind

pulled a number out my ass and chose 220LBS/100kg, no deformation!! I might add a weight slider later on

I just remembered
Download create aeronautics mod for Minecraft, it has block weights in it. Probably can help you!

PLEASE make the gold and netherite blocks the HEAVIEST, ~like to 0.75 ton and 1.5 tons~ (and bedrock split in half like the vanilla marble blocks too for the funnies)

one mยณ of gold is like 20 tons ๐ญ would be apt to have the blocks actually weigh what they should. gneiss name on youtube has some good insight for example what type of rock "stone" could be

Fuck, right... Then that means that the netherite block has to have a minimum weight of 80 tons + 36x netherite scrap weight

Those blocks look a little big. Aren't they one meter by one meter?

u/SIX_DOZERS_CHARGING 23h ago
yeah, 1 meter by 1 meter is just pretty big

Are you? Or is Claude making it?

Bro, making a mod that is just a literal one cubic meter block does not require a lot of knowledge. This is one of simplest possible mods you can create. Most of work here is moving textures between folders. Don't be that suspicious about every mod (I understand that there's a lot of slopmods coming out rn).

yeah this is like the ideal use case, same shape and size just a lot of boilerplate code and different textures for each

Would the tnt do dmg to the car, because if so I would instantly download this mod

You could build houses in zero G with World Editor, perhaps connect the air suspended blocks together with the nodegrabber, and then you'd have a (mostly) destructible building ๐ฎ
That'd be really cool!!

It's funny to see and makes me wonder wtf some people do in beam lmao very different experience from mine lol

It would be funny if you added TNT minecarts and stacking them made them behave like in the game

How do you plan to get the textures? Does it require a local copy of Minecraft with an active paid account?
4
u/ApexGT44 19h ago
Active paid account? What?
No you can search it up I would assume lol
-3
u/SmashShock 18h ago
Search what up? The textures? You can't redistribute Minecraft textures in a mod for another game.
5
u/Obvious_Battle4822 16h ago
I downloaded them off the internet lmfao? It was on curseforge
-1
u/SmashShock 16h ago
That doesn't mean you can legally include them in a mod for a different game? The textures belong to Mojang.
4
u/-Speechless Pigeon Lover 14h ago
I'm glad you take copyright very seriously I guess but it really does not matter in this case, Mojang isn't gonna take action against a random small mod for beamng
