Very green trying something ive never attempted.
I had a drawing if a Phonix i saved for a tattoo design. That im slowly working on to make it in color how i want it. I figured there is a bunch of leaves or feather floating are the bird. That i would make look like they are on fire. Im learning as go, and not a expert. Just trying some new things.

Anyone can point to a book, a series of videos, tutorials, on how to learn how to draw like this?
I'm trying to learn a new skill and this looks fairly doable for me compared to other types of drawing. I'm really bad at drawing, even my handwriting is terrible.
Anyways, do you have like a suggestion on a book, tutorial series, or something that would guide a terrible beginner to learn how to do this.
I have been trying. One thing I'm not sure how to do is how this person is able to add the details immediately as they draw with ink. I can sort of get the proportions okay in terms or arms, legs, and head but usually I just draw people without any clothing.
