Which version Bible is the "correct" one?

Sorry but I dont believe it's the King James version. But which is the "proper" version besides that? I wish it hadn't been altered by man & there was just one original version bc it's causing confusion & division within the Christian community.

I want the most pure & original form of the Bible but I'm not sure which one it is as I've been given at least three different answers.

3 Types of Temptation: A Question We Must All Answer

*** Matthew 4:1–11 ***

Before beginning His public ministry, Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness, where He fasted for forty daysand was then tempted by Satan in three different ways. This was not merely a one-time event that happened to Jesus alonetwo thousand years ago. Even today, Satan continues to use the same reasoning and methods to tempt believers andchallenge the church in our modern world.

What was the true nature of the three temptations Jesus faced in the wilderness, and how should we stand firm in our faithto overcome these temptations today?

1. “Turn these stones into bread” — Do not use your faith as a tool forpersonal desires or spiritual manipulation.

The first temptation came when Jesus was hungry and Satan said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones tobecome bread.” At its core, this temptation was a demand to use His faith and spiritual power as a means of satisfying Hispersonal desires.

The Pharisees, too, may have begun with a sincere commitment to observing the Law and pursuing religious devotion.Over time, however, their faith became corrupted and turned into a means of protecting their privileged positions andserving their own interests. Satan was presenting Jesus with that very same path of corruption.

Even today, we continue to see attempts to use the Word of God to justify human greed or to turn faith into a form ofmysticism that distorts God's sovereign will.

“Declare God's Word, and your finances will overflow with abundance.”

“Command it in faith, and your aging, weakened joints and bones will be completely renewed and become as strong assteel.”

“Poverty is a sign of defeat. Achieving worldly success and gaining recognition and prestige is God's will for you.”

But true faith is not about using God to fulfill our own desires. Rather, it is about making God's will and His truth the verypurpose of our lives.

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4

2. “Throw yourself down from the pinnacle of the temple” — Do not treatGod as someone bound by a contract or as an insurance policy.

The second temptation came when Satan urged Jesus to throw Himself down from the pinnacle of the temple, claimingthat God would send His angels to protect Him so that He would not strike His foot against a stone. Satan even quotedScripture to persuade Jesus to put God to the test.

At its core, this temptation was an invitation to turn a relationship with God into a transaction or an insurance policy. Itwas the attitude that because I have done something for God, He is obligated to respond in return. We can easily fall intothis kind of transactional faith without even realizing it.

“I have served God so faithfully, so surely He must protect me from suffering in my life.”

“I have given so much in offerings and sown so many seeds of faith, so my finances must inevitably prosper.”

“I have fasted in faith and spent all night praying with tears, so God must answer me exactly as I want Him to.”

But God is not obligated to act according to our demands simply because we have fulfilled certain religious duties. Tothink otherwise is to put God to the test.

True faith is not a conditional transaction but a steady and unwavering trust in God.

Remember the three friends of Daniel. Even when they faced the threat of being thrown into a blazing furnace, theydeclared that God was able to deliver them, but that even if He did not, they would still refuse to bow down to the idol(Daniel 3:18).

Even when God does not answer according to our expectations and our circumstances remain unchanged, trusting in Hisgoodness and sovereignty to the very end is the kind of faith that overcomes the temptation at the pinnacle of the temple.

3. “Bow down to me, and I will give you the glory and splendor of theworld” — Compromising with human-centered thinking and worldly valuesleads to spiritual death.

The third temptation came when Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and their glory in exchange forworshiping him. We must not reduce this temptation to an extreme scenario involving the worship of a devil with horns.

We need to look back at the tragedy of the Garden of Eden. The serpent did not directly demand that Adam and Eveworship him. Instead, he used a subtle, human-centered argument to lead them into disobeying God's clear command.They chose to trust their own judgment and the serpent's whisper rather than God's Word. The result was an act ofrebellion against God and, ultimately, spiritual death.

Today, Satan's temptations often come in much more subtle forms. Secular humanism that rejects the absolute truth ofGod, the postmodern relativism that denies the existence of absolute truth, religious pluralism that claims there are manypaths to salvation, and worldly philosophies that place human reason above the Word of God—all of these can lead us tocompromise our faith and are, in essence, forms of bowing down to Satan.

The world constantly whispers:

“If you live strictly according to the Bible, you will be seen as an outdated and narrow-minded person who cannot keepup with the times.”

“Worshiping the gods of other religions is ultimately just another way of worshiping the same God.”

“You do not need to insist that Jesus is the only Savior. If you compromise a little with the world's philosophies andvalues, you can gain wealth, glory, and acceptance.”

But the moment we compromise the truth in pursuit of worldly glory, we begin to lose our spiritual vitality and movetoward spiritual death.

Yet the Spirit of Christ, who has already secured the victory, lives and works within us. Therefore, when we depend onHis power and put on the full armor of God, Satan will flee from us, and we will be able to experience, day by day, theholy life of those who share in Christ's victory.

How could there have been so many animals?

I'm reading Numbers rn and I have this question since I started reading the Old Testament.

How many animals were in the herds?? BC always had a LOT of different offerings for different situations, for example: the sin sacrifice, when someone sinned, they needed to sacrificed some animals (I don't remember rn if was one or more), and always was "one-year" and the specific animal, the people o Israel on those time was HUGE.

I know it's a huge important question, but this is never leave my mind.

Sorry if I wrote some word incorrectly, English it's not my first language.

God bless you 🩷

How to interpret Hosea 4:12 “My people inquire of a piece of wood, and their walking staff gives them oracles. For a spirit of whoredom has led them astray, and they have left their God to play the whore.”

I want to understand this from my POV as iI struggle with sins of passion. Does the verse actually imply an unclean spirit that is affecting me to sin or is this verse used as an example to highlight Israel's lack of faith. Thanks in advance.

  1. It will help you make Good decisions..

- The bible says:Genesis 14:21-23 NKJV Now the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the persons, and take the goods for yourself.” But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth, that I will  take nothing, from a thread to a sandal strap, and that I will not take anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich’—

- Remember Abram was a prophet through the gift of Deserning spirit he decerned that they will say that I have made Abram rich’—

  1. It will help us to see God Clear..Genesis 18:2-3 So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground, and said, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant.”

- Through Discernment Abraham was able to know that this is the Lord. some have mistreated angles because they faid to know that these are angles..

Prayer Point..

  1. My Father in Heaven pour discernment on us, so that we can discern spirits who are around us..in Jesus name amen

  2. My Father in heaven, give us the Spirit to discern our environment as we interact with this World, in Jesus name amen

Bible verses for pregnancy?

Recently found out that we are expecting our first child! I’m looking for any Bible verses regarding pregnancy, protection, and safety.

I’ve been a baptized Catholic since infancy, but I have to say that I haven’t been devoted to the religion as much as I’d like to be. Upon seeing my positive pregnancy test, all I could think was to thank God over and over. I am so blessed. I want to continue to have a close relationship with God during this pregnancy.

Thank you in advance!
