Yes once you pay you should be able to go into your account and cancel. You’ll still get the albums and not have to worry about auto renew

Yup super easy. I’m a long time Vault member and I’ve canceled when there’s been ones that just weren’t worth it to me, and then will re-up when one comes along I want. Just a click of a button in the Vault section on their website that you’ll get access to will cancel so it doesn’t auto renew.

I don’t know if y’all could tell but I’m like 99% sure Billy was on a dose of acid that night. He was rambling between songs and you could tell he had taken something beside a single shroom 😛 he was dialed in on the jams.

Holy shit, totally forgot about that. Just went back and listened again. Marley was my first musical love and I’ve been waiting for the boys to do a Marley tune, and I remember after that thinking, maybe that’s the closest we’ll get (so far)

I don’t think most people knew what it was. I, on the other hand, had both fists raised in the air with tears streaming down my face. Hah! 5.25 was also my favorite dog’s birthday, and she had passed away a year or so prior, so it was just perfect.

I can’t speak to any hidden gems now, but they update it every so often. Wouldn’t be surprised if some goodies appear in the Vault store around Black Friday.

I have purged my vinyl collection down to every Johnny Cash album and a few favorites, and told myself I wouldn't even buy any Billy vinyl because I would want to have everything including that relix session that I'm never going to find for a reasonable price. Now here I am looking at buying everything lol

I have similar questions. As a recent listener the setlist and jams look stacked though.I haven't seen any comments like "Why was this the first full show on vinyl?", so I think it's a safe bet it's a good show.

My only concern is Third Man’s pressing quality often leaves a lot to be desired. I’m a little shocked the EP will be released like this, but I’m guessing that will get a wider release once this drops.
Either way, it’s going to be tough to say no to this one.

I’ve had issues with one or 2 vinyls in the past. TMR customer service is extremely good at replacing any defective records (even if it is just one out of a multiple set)

I 100% agree about their customer service being awesome. If you have an issue with a vault release they’ll send you a replacement right away.

My issue isn’t with their QC or customer service. I just feel like the quality of the pressings are so-so. Maybe I’m holding them to a higher standard due to their commitment to vinyl as a thing deserving of preservation, but I just wish their stuff were closer to audiophile than novelty/curiosity.

Could you please elaborate on what the issue is with their pressings? Is it a flimsy record or the sound quality is bad?

The vinyl itself (disc, jacket, etc) are always top quality. The pressings often will have surface noise issues. There were also a couple issues with some of their recent jazz reissues. The Chico Hamilton "The Dealer" had an edit on one of the songs that cut out a solo by Larry Coryell. The John Scofield "A Go Go" release was cut really quiet. These are all nit-picky type of things, but they do such a great job on curation and physical execution. I don't understand why the actual sound of the vinyl will often have issues.
Take it all with a grain of salt, because I already ordered one. Opening the package will definitely be a wow moment, and I'm not saying don't buy it.

I see. That's kind of disappointing considering we can buy the raw files from Nugs for $10-15.
I'm all for physical media but if there are audio issues I don't know that it's worth it for me. Having the EP would be cool though.

I'm having a hard time convincing myself to buy a pressing of just one full show when we can buy the raw file on nugs for 1/5th the price. If it were a curation of songs from different nights like live vol 1 I'd for sure be in. The og EP is cool but I don't know that the value is there on this.

Yeah of you don't want the live album then it's probably not worth it. But $75 for 5 discs shipped is really not bad. Billy's 2 disc LPs have run $40+ shipped from what I've seen.
