I figure tonight is the double whammy of Stratosphere Blues/I Believe In You and Still I Crash.
(Have a seat. Go easy on the entheogens.)

How big is this venue?

u/gamerboy2019 27d ago
Only about 1639 tickets distributed as of writing.

u/NeverMissedAParty 27d ago
Do they usually drop tickets day of or before the show/at box office? I havenāt been able to see Billy at one of these small venues and am trying to remain hopeful for LA, since no one is willing to sell (only trade)

Thatās the way to do it. Ball arena is not designed for music and it shows. Really great energy with the big crowd and thatās fun in itās own way but the sound just isnāt as good.

Really is a shame that Ball is the only place Billy can play large shows in Denver. Waiting for the day he takes over Dicks.

u/jesusmansuperpowers 27d ago
Iām not gonna be shocked if he gets big enough to do the new mile high in a few years
1
u/ewokfarmer 27d ago
Doesnāt look like thatās opening up until 2031. I wouldnāt be surprised if he slows down a little bit over the next few years. I hope not but I could see him wanting to spend more quality time with his family and I wouldnāt blame him for it.

u/jesusmansuperpowers 27d ago
Ya maybe. Could also start doing one shorter tour of huge venues per year instead of endless dates if that becomes viable.

u/Life_Ear_2807 27d ago
Absolutely no chance

u/jesusmansuperpowers 26d ago
Why not? Heās got the whole dead scene coming over.. Dead and Company did some pretty massive venues not long ago. Plus he has some appeal with the radio country music people.

u/Life_Ear_2807 26d ago
Are you serious
1
u/jesusmansuperpowers 26d ago
Why not? 2 sold-out nights in a basketball arena isnāt that different from a football stadium.

u/luxurytrope 27d ago
Do people stand and dance at their seats in these smaller theater shows? I'm wondering because I managed to get a ticket for the Orpheum in LA

u/The_crazy_Baker419 27d ago
Won't be a single ass in a seat. I was upper decks at ball booth nights and it was electric! Great energy
