Discussion Skills aside, I still don’t like Revali. Like he’s talented, yes, but man does he seem to have an ego…

I like Teba though. Though I wish more people believed I was a champion…

Also yes I have entered Vah Medoh! Might head to Vah Naboris next since I already unlocked wasteland tower by accident and so I can get it out of the way

Looking for a Switch 2 Edition item sharing QR code for Guardian Parts (Ancient Armor)

Hey everyone,
I’m currently grinding out the Ancient Armor set in Breath of the Wild – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Instead of repeatedly scanning my own amiibos and messing with the system clock, I’m trying to utilize the new Zelda Notes "Item Sharing" feature.
Does anyone have a Guardian amiibo loot box active that they could generate an Item Sharing QR code for? I just need to scan it to grab some extra Guardian parts for the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Discussion Unpopular opinion: I like the Divine Beasts

I kind of like the divine beasts than most of totk's temples. While the divine beasts are just glorified shrine puzzles, I think they do way better than it's successor.

Zelda Posting every day until Ocarina of time comes out. Day 40: Wizzrobe

well, OOT boss week is over, but that's ok cause we still got plenty of good old classic zelda enemies to talk about. just 19 more days of this and I'll finally be free...

the wizzrobe is a wizard that wears, well, a robe. that's why it's called wizzrobe. wizzrobe teleports around the room, shoots a magical projectile, then teleports again. it's a sneaky little guy that can be hard to hit. Wizzrobe appeared in the first 4 zelda games. ok, so technically it was just called "wizard" in zelda 2, but who cares, it was the same thing: a teleporting, projectile shooting wizard in a robe. it was wizzrobe and you'll never convince me otherwise, even if you bribe me.

when zelda made the jump to 3D with Ocarina of time, wizzrobe was absent, losing its perfect attendance record. but wizzrobe got a second chance on the N64 with Majora's mask, and we finally got to see what this thing looks like under it's robe! it's... a gross blue old man. eww. why does he look like this? he's so weird... and without his robe, can we really call him wizzrobe? he's more wizz than robe.

wind waker would redesign wizzrobe again by turning him into a bird for some reason, before finally we got wizzrobe's current design, where it is once again more robe than wizz.

hyrule warriors would also have one of its "original characters" be a robed wizard named "wizzro", but like, you can't just take off the last two letters off of a name and call it an original character. that'd be like showing off your sonic OC "Son the Hedgehog". Wizzro is wizzrobe and you'll never convince me otherwise, even if you bribe me.

Discussion How much of Breath of the Wild can you complete without using weapons, bows, or shields?

By not using them, I specifically mean not having the weapon, bow, or shield tabs in the inventory unlocked at all, and therefore keeping Link's bare chest free of the weapon strap. I dub this category Strapless%.

Anyways, I've been doing a run of this for a while, and I've actually realized that almost 80 percent of the entire game is still doable without unlocking the weapon strap, although I am using glitches. If I wasn't, this would be an extremely boring run.

I also want to clarify that to do the Divine Beasts, you need to use a separate save file to set up some glitches, that I'll allow you to guess what they are in the comments. And yes, my only source of damage output is bombs. And if you do the research, you will realize that bombs suck and cannot get better in this challenge.

What are some of your ideas on what glitches I used? Would you want to try out this run yourself?

Discussion Some interesting things about each Divine Beast Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
13 Upvotes

Minor spoiler of the games content.

I've goofed off with the moon jump glitch (infinite jump glitch) in the past and wanted to share some things that I discovered about the Divine Beasts with this glitch.

Naboris and Medoh: despite moving around in the overworld, with the moon jump glitch while in these Divine Beasts and the ability to jump higher and higher, I discovered that Naboris and Medoh aren't actually moving. Instead, the camera is moving around the area while Naboris and Medoh are actually not moving. Another thing that I discovered about Naboris is that when far enough, you can't control him anymore with the map. Medoh will also void you out if you moon jump too far. Medoh can be controlled from a far distance though.

Ruta: Ruta has a weird aspect to it depending on what you do. This happened to me once, but with the moon jump glitch, if you already have enough shock arrows before you arrive at the domain and start the part of the quest where Sidon tells you to go to the East Reservoir, something strange can happen. I don't know why this happens, but sometimes, when Sidon tells you about the orbs on Ruta's back, the orbs just don't appear. Then when you try to fight Ruta, the orbs won't be there for you to shoot. For me, I did a simple reset and that seemed to fix it. Now when you're inside Ruta, there is no void out trigger if you go far enough with the moon jump glitch. I decided to moon jump all the way to Naboris, and Naboris was very low-poly. I decided to let myself fall and ended up falling through the floor and into the void. Now, this is a glitch that some of you are familiar with. If you let Link fall through the floor for hours, he will slowly get more distorted. Also, if you get far enough from Ruta, it will despawn from now only the world, but the map as well. If you move his head open for one of the terminals, it will stay loaded and the same goes for his water. Interestingly, you can still move its trunk even when far away.

Rudania: You can't start the fight early, because there is a barrier that reaches to the height limit of the game. Nothing to special happens when doing Rudania's quest. But when you get inside it, things change. When moving Rudania from side to side, Rudania's model also decides to move side to side. However, death mountain also decides to move side to side to give off the illusion of Rudania moving. Another interesting thing is that when you moon jump high enough, you can see that Hyrule is completely gone. You seem to be loaded in an area that's similar to the shrines. Like Ruta and Medoh, Rudania can be moved from a far distance.

If you want to know how to do the moon jump glitch, here's a link:https://youtu.be/sW80OYl5Spw?si=xIFqkKkJZt222bKu

Side note: I don't have pictures for moon jumping out of Naboris and Medoh. Sorry

I’m debating going to fight Calamity Ganon. I could continue on and grind out some more Rupees and ancient parts for the Ancient Armor set. On the other hand, I freed all the Devine Beasts and just got the Master Sword.

Completed the last quest, picked up the last korok, fought the last Lynel. It’s time for my allergic to fast travel Link to fuel his bike and drive to the castle for the final showdown.

Been playing this game since late June. What a journey it was!

Discussion Community Challenges

Hey friends, this is my first ever Zelda game and I absolutely love it, but I've done everything short of finding the korok seeds and there's a few armors I need to upgrade fully still like the "of the wild" set, but I want to propose a community challenge hub here of sorts. It'd be cool for us to challenge each other to in game things like "who can find the strongest savage lynel sword" or something like that. My thing lately has been killing the lynels repeatedly to make their weapon drops better to see how high I can get the damage on each of them. I have a crusher that does 107 rn and a sword that's at 101, I forget what the spear is.

Point being, if you guys can think of some fun challenges for me or others lmk, I wanna keep rocking out till I gets TotK but I'm running out of ideas.

This makes a surprisingly fun party game! Hide them all over and then the kids (or adults) get a small candy or rupee or gem.
