59m bayside needs a new buddy

Hi all, Im a 59yo australian born male raised in NZ. My partner and I moved to Australia nearly 2 years ago.

I have never had a huge circle of friends but had a few really good close ones. One of my buddies we'd catch up together every Wednesday and Thursday nights at the local pub for a couple of drinks, play a bit of pool, talk some crap, but also able to enjoy some serious chats as good close mates. We did that for nearly 20 yrs.

Since moving over here Ive not yet found a new mate like that. Id like to see if I can.

Things I like are V8 supercars, rugby union, league and tennis. Also travel, cinema, playing pool, photography and motorbike riding.

I am due to get married early 2027. Most of my time out of work hours is spent with my fiancee. I am lacking and miss the male bonding with close mates.

I know its a long shot, but if anyone is keen to catch up in the Wynnum / Bayside area please let me know. I am somewhat introverted so getting out and making friends randomly has never been easy for me. With my worklife though I spend a lot of time interacting with people. Having had a couple of business in the past meant that I knew a lot of people, but only needed a few good mates.
