I am hoping for some guidance from all of you business fashion lovers!
I have an in person interview next week in a different industry - tech, Human Resources - and Iāve been in upper level administration in higher education in my current position, which translates to business formal in the office. I have a tendency to overdress rather than underdress. This new position will require driving around the city where I live, and lots of in-person interaction with new employees.
The recruiter told me ābusiness casualā over the phone, and I am thinking pants because they feel less formal than skirts and easier to move around in.
I have a massive closet to draw from, my wardrobe is heavily cool colors (lots of green, blue, black, white, almost no tans or browns) with a lot of blazers, heels (Iām also short), pencil skirts and dresses.
Pacific Northwest, dry side, the high should be lower 60s that day, partly sunny, maybe breezy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
