Hello everybody, last week we had a post asking for more specific post flairs! We have taken all of your feedback into consideration and added many options. Other users would love if you selected a more specific post flair so they can use your posts as inspiration for their outfits in the future!
Furthermore, we have added occupation-specific User Flairs!
You can custom-make your own user flair, but it must be occupation-specific and NOT include:
- Specific Age (NOT allowed)
- Gender (NOT allowed)
- Sexual orientation (NOT allowed)
You MAY put your occupation and what level of your career you are in. Do you have any other suggestions or feel like we omitted something that should be there? Feel free to comment it!

I mean I donāt know that it is actually āfun dayā but Iām going to will it so with the joy in my office look today. Patterned skirt brings some texture to any otherwise all black ensemble with hints of silver showing in my accessories.

Happy Monday! Kicking off a busy week with more of a casual vibe. Mostly all internal meetings these next two weeks as we prepare for our quarterly earnings. At least the rain finally took a break!
Pants by Ann Taylor, denim shirt by Walmart, cashmere cardigan by Banana Republic, belt by Avara, loafers by Franco Sarto and shearling bag by Chanel.

I learned this is a bad outfit: https://www.reddit.com/r/BusinessFashion/comments/1x9lezw/dinner_at_industry_conference/ so I went back to my limited wardrobe looking for other outfits since unfortunately I don't have time to go shopping before the event. Hopefully one of them works, worst case scenario I'll wear black pants with a blue solid top. I don't have true black sheer tights but I guess I can buy those at Target, I may have time for that. I don't like the sequin look, I feel old but maybe it's just me. I don't have knee high boots because it's usually hard for me to find boots that can fit my legs (my ankles are too thick). I'm also short so I have this feeling they make me look shorter. Thank you again for your constructive feedback.

a selection of my work outfits from the past month or so to celebrate passing my probation š„³ I wasn't sure what the vibe was when I first started but after a month of dressing plain and safe I figured it was fairly fashion-forward (I work in a university) so I could dress more in a way that brings me joy! š¤©

Before buying a bag, I usually ask myself three questions:
Does my current collection really not meet this need?
Will the new bag go with most of the clothes in my wardrobe?
Can I think of at least a few times each month when I'd actually use it?
Tbh, I'm not quite a minimalist yet. I bought a Fabrique Rialto in red a while ago and have been using it for work. It's been pretty good overall, and I've been happy with it so far. But recently, I've been eyeing their Soft Boston in dark brown. It just seems perfect for fall and winter!
The problem is that I already have a work bag, so I'm wondering whether having a different color and style is really enough reason to buy another one.(I'm on a bit of a budget.)
What do you guys think? Should I go for it, or stick with the bag I already have? Would love some advice!

For me, the shoes often make the outfit⦠so the lack of a full size mirror at this placement is going to be a challenge I am not yet sure how the outfit pics will overcome. 2nd pic shows off the shoes a bit more since you can barely see the pink in my futile attempt to make it work in the mirror pic š
As if being an unpaid student therapist, 4th year PhD student, researcher, and having another job on the side wasnāt hard enough⦠now I canāt even get my tiny dose of dopamine from posting my cutie outfits online š

I am returning to the office after a year off and need to pull together a wardrobe. I abhor tight clothing on my stomach because I start feeling nauseous. All the āinspirationā I find includes tight pants and belts. I love the look, but know that I canāt tolerate it. What can I wear that looks polished but is looser?? (Dress code is smart casual, and I canāt have any exposed skin on my legs or ankles)

We wear business attire, and for me, thatās typically dress slacks, button downs or tās, with a smart blazer. My feet hurt too much for pumps or heels and my current loafers are getting tired. I want to get something very comfortable that will last and look the part.
I used to wear Clarkās because the brand used to fit my feet well, but theyāre cutting their toebox narrow and they just donāt fit like they used to.
Naturalized used to work too, but theyāre cutting their are too causal or you canāt find them in leather anymore.
Ideally, Iād find something that works and get it in every color.

I'm attending a conference in my field of expertise (not traditional, and very niche) and they have a dinner party with music, dancing, etc. The theme is "dress to impress". I love these stockings but I don't know if they are appropriate. I may also change the dress...I'm planning to wear them with black leather boots (ankle height). What do you think?

Final update! Thank you all SO much for your advice and feedback! Iāve seriously learned so much from everyone and really appreciate you helping me narrow down my outfits for the conference.
I never would have thought two different color shades of black makes a big difference, but I'm glad I listened to everybody.
I couldnāt have done it without you all! Here are the final looks! š
