Casual Ohio St fans should be ashamed

Over 5,000 hate filled comments have showed up on Ohio St kicker Jayden Fielding’s social media since last night. Fanbase should be ashamed they’re harassing one of their own, it isn’t good for the player, team, or sport. No excuse for it, touch grass. Hope the fanbase can lift up this young man in time for their next game instead of tearing him down even more.

Its just a game, if you send a kid fucking death threats over it you need to re-evaluate yourself.

That’s the problem with gambling. For many people it’s no longer “just a game”, because they have money on the line. That’s why there has been a marked uptick in the number of death threats getting thrown around after losses like this, because gamblers losing money are unable to regulate themselves.

I doubt the vast majority sending the hateful messages even had money on the game.
