I’ve actually replaced large transformers like they would have at a football stadium. Regardless if it’s the power company’s side or FSU’s, they may very well have a replacement on-site but it generally takes several hours to change your primary and secondary connections from one transformer to another. Depending on the setup they might also have to move the old transformer out of the way which is not a simple task.
