All you need to know is whatever hot take media sphere attack piece gets posted will have a billion upvoted and comments, and any serious piece of football discussion regarding the sport itself will have next to no engagement. Reality TV for men.
I thought Michigan would play better today, but is it really pure emotion to doubt a team who required a hail mary to beat Western Michigan? Like yeah, they won today and that's awesome, but people weren't doubting them "purely out of emotion."
"Every single iota of my being is telling me OU easy, but 89% of the ML is on OU and 87% of the spread is on OU and the spread is TIGHTENING to -4.5. The sharps are on Michigan. Why? I dont know but hmmm. Whenever I went with my "logical" choice I lose, so I think {Michigan} is the play. I'm goiong to look fucking stupid in hindsight but man I'm trying to get Michigan 33% on polymarket"
Neither of these teams look like ranked football teams. Both defenses are good, but the offenses are putrid.
The difference in this game was the turnovers by Oklahoma. Without those, Michigan doesn't score 10 points. The fumble let Michigan pin Oklahoma to its own goaline, defense forces a 3 and out and Michigan starts a drive from midfield that lets them get a field goal. Then the interception was 7 easy points.
Maybe if Michigan's offense stops shooting itself in the foot with penalties it could develop a rhythm and do more on its own, but the biggest issue is Underwood needs to learn how to pass the football.
