What exactly were they vindicated for? Hiring Golding as HC for being the coordinator who hadn’t worked with Kiffin for ages? Giving him a bag to spread, not least because of how important it was to get this result tonight?
I think i’ll wait a bit to see how the operation holds up beyond rallying for ”let’s beat the coach that left you all”. If only for the detail that most successful college coaches haven’t had to wait for nearly two decades before getting to try being HC somewhere.
LSU has a more expensive roster and far more expensive staff. I don't get your logic. One game doesn't validate anything either way, but damn does it feel good
Are they though? Do we really think beating Lane Kiffin with the quarterback Lane Kiffin brought in who is 24 years old and a team Lane Kiffin buult (isn’t that a thing CFB always says when a disliked coach in the first year or two does anything good? Hell they still say it about Les Miles Natty) in your own house with all that vitriol by 1 score that you needed a miracle tip to keep from going to OT really means anything long term? Sure they got their catharsis. Good for them. In 5 years does anyone really think OM will be in a better spot than LSU?
It could be called a miracle tip, or could be called winning. Even if that pass was caught they would still have to put it in again after that to have a chance at winning. It only takes one to win but LSU didnt get it done.
