The situation of him leaving is a lot more nuanced than most outside of Utah know. The plan was always for him to step aside for Morgan. He was supposed to do it after our first season in the Big12 but we pooped the bed so he was allowed to come back one more year. He then wanted to come back ANOTHER year and that really lost the respect of the coaches who had passed up opportunities to go elsewhere for promotions because they expected to get promoted to those roles with his retirement. So after Kyle lost the confidence and respect of his coaches he was forced out and he was a little bitch about it.
