Name a more dynamic duo than Nebraska football and losing by 3 in the 4th. I'll wait.

Nebraska and getting fucking smoked on National broadcast? Playing opponents and their punter literally never sees the field? Y'all's memory is condensing years and years of the close games and leaving out all the other losses.
Like what do you want? The team is clearly better. Yes we'd all like to be National Champions and win these games against top teams. But you know what? Most mediocre to good teams don't win against the top teams. That's why they're top teams.
We have a good team right now. It's not great, but it's good. We may land anywhere between 7 and 10 wins this season. Anyone predicting this season was saying 'this is a 6-7 win team at best' and even if we exceed those projections and win 8 or 9 (which all of you people would have been elated to see), that still means we lose 3 or 4. Most teams lose games.
You 'oh see it's the same old Nebraska' fans are both deeply uncritical and unoriginal people, but also tiring because you find every reason to be negative about an improving team instead of celebrating what's in front of you - which many fanbases would trade for.
You want to root for TAMU instead? What about LSU right now? Clemson? USC? Chill out and enjoy a good team that's almost definitely going bowling 3 years in a row for the first time since Bo Pelini's tenure.
I’m actually still pumped on Nebraska this year and really happy with today’s outcome. We had the defending national champion on their heels most of the game. We’ve made great strides.
