Well okay but would you rather be a Nebraska fan born in like 2000 and have missed out on the glory days or be a fan born in like the 80’s and have…whatever this program has become after experiencing the highs
I'm considering watching the highlights the rest of the season. Hockey's started back up, and I only have so much free time. I'm trying to remember the most feeling I've ever felt for this team, and I think it was the 2016 Fresno State game.
I expect this team to lose games like this, and they rarely prove me wrong. Apathy helps.
"Would you rather be one of the worst power conference teams of the last 20 years and counting, while embarrassing yourself on the national stage literally every time?
Or would you rather be alive and able to remember 3 national titles AND THEN do the above"
You literally have to do scenario 1 no matter what. So you're just asking if we'd rather have 3 or 0 national titles in our lifetime. What a silly question.
As an Indiana Basketball fan I also feel uniquely qualified to answer this question as I would rather have seen my team win at some point in my life. The erosion of the program stinks but at least the old heads got to experience something great. I just get false hope and nut punches.
I was born 1992. I was technically alive for the dominance of the 90s but it was the 2001 season that is the first season I truly remember. I hate this so much. I wish I were at least a Chiefs fan like most of the rest of the people I know. But nooo, I had to go and be special. What an idiot I am.
Green Bay. I know I shouldn't complain too much as they have been good. But they've never had a run like the Chiefs. And they also know how to tear put my heart.
Hello there fellow Cheesehead! You can always have a second team. The Chiefs are my second team because in 2010 I got to go to one of their home games. To this day, it's the only NFL game I've been to.
I guess it could always be worse. You could be a Bills fan. Or a Cardinals fan.
I was around for the glory of the 90's and always have those memories. I'd hate to be born after and have to listen to stories of how good they used to be when all you know is heartbreak and misery. Remember when is the lowest form of conversation.
Does being born in the 80s come with home ownership and a healthy retirement account? Or is it more like graduating college in 2009 and needing 5-7 years of constantly job hunting and getting laid off before you find your financial footing, just to have the pandemic wreck it all again?

Nebraska shitting the bed when it matters, and refusing to play a whole game of football. Story of this team my whole life.
