The same Bo Pelini that was mediocre at Youngstown State and got boat-raced in his one season back in FBS and has never worked again? That Bo Pelini?

Yes I'm sure the program that was getting worse on defense, worse in recruiting, and starting to flounder really should have kept Bo Pelini around just because they were surviving the lowest point of B1G West play.

Idiotic take. The only more idiotic take than that was hiring Mike Riley as the replacement.

This idea that somehow Bo Pelini was actually doing a good job all along is a terrible take and I'm going to push back on it every single time it comes up, because it's wrong. Firing Bo Pelini was correct and every step of his career has proven Nebraska right, not vindicated him to the point of him laughing at Nebraska - even as the premise for a joke.
