I was reliably informed that 2026 Florida was the second coming of 2019 LSU, looked more like 2021 version today

That’s just an annual right of passage at this point. Every season somebody gets anointed the next 2019 LSU

Which is weird is that nobody really talked about 2020 Alabama that way until afterwards, or at least really late in the season when you had some good stat comparisons.

And that team was probably the most similar although the offenses did things a bit differently.
