Not only did we hold on to the 7 point half time lead, but we scored more points in the second half than the first and extended that lead to a 19 point win.

I truly still believe this team can be good. You can argue with me on that. I think it’s purely a mentality issue, not ability.
First win in the swamp by a coach not named Steve Spurrier. First ranked win since 2024 Clemson. First SEC win in over a year. LaNorris’s first 5 TD performance since 2024 Missouri. Easily the best we’ve played all year, aside from maybe the 57-0 Kent State win.

.... i mean, i wish i could say something positive about this game, but I'm struggling.
The only person who seemed to want to be on the field from florida was Philo... who is also the person that the fan base is going to try to blame.
When the 2nd most excited person to be out there is the HBC for the speech between the quarters, we have issues. So, we have issues.
I have no idea what happened to the line and Baugh - there's something missing, and no idea what.
I'm still in on Sumrall - just no idea what to say. You can call last week our trap game.... but this week? what can we call this week? We didn't want to be on the field and it showed. The oline got exposed again and it showed....
We have no heart, and that isn't on Philo - him and Stockton (and Prior when he got reps) were the only ones that wanted to be on that field for UF. The rest of the guys, no idea what's going on.
Singleton was supposed to be the highlight guy and hasnt shown it.
Wilson is supposed to be the star and when given WR1 he can't get YAC against DB1.
Line isn't getting the push they did W1-W4.
No idea what is going on, but at this rate, i might actually be able to afford tickets to our next home game in month. And that's not a good thing.

The recipe is pretty simple:
- Stack the box. Our O-Line is terrible, and this prevents Baugh from running anywhere.
- Force Philo is pass. He isn’t very good, so it’s easy to shut down the run game when you don’t have to worry about the pass game. Also, since the O-Line is bad, you’ll get to the QB a lot.
- Apparently, the entirety of our offense relies on VB3 being healthy.

Funny because 2 weeks ago you could very credibly argue we would go 2-10, and now the Birmingham Bowl might be on the table!

Josh Pate cursed this Florida team by comparing them to 2019 LSU 💀

Sellers finally balling out like it's '25.

I’ve just come to realize that fucking nobody is good in college football right now outside of maybe Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State.

At this point, any fantasy of playoff contention is over for FL. They just need to focus on fixing their recurring deficiencies on both sides of the ball. Offensively, their greatest challenge is abysmal blocking. FL's offense is run-first, with complementary passing. Hard to do that successfully when your running backs and pass-catchers can't get past the line of scrimmage before getting hit. Defensively, it's been the same issues every game with missed tackles and poor pass coverage in the 2nd and 3rd levels. The coaching staff needs to step up and address these mistakes. Next, they need to turn their attention to the 2027 recruiting class to shore up talent deficiencies at the O-line and secondary positions. FL's coaching staff had a couple of big wins early, then their opponents adjusted. It's time for FL's coaching staff to make some adjustments of their own.

Florida is 0-2 since Josh Pate compared them to 2019 LSU.
