Genuinely the worst offensive I’ve seen over the first 3 quarters.

Who knew that a coordinator that only called plays for a dogshit Rutgers team would be horrible

I forget what year it was but about 20 years ago or so there was a span where the Ducks were using like their 5th string QB who was essentially a RB. Now that was bad, lol

2007 we got down to Justin Roper who was our 5th string QB. Definitely no RB, Justin was a bit of a string bean. Tall gangly dude, 3 star QB out of Buford, Georgia. Dixon tore his ACL, Brady Leaf was doo doo, Nate Costa's ACLs only existed in theory, and the coaching staff was high on Cody Kempt out of Beaverton's Westview High School but he stunk too. We threw Justin Roper in and he tied the then Sun Bowl record of 4 passing TDs against fellow former 2007 #2 team USF. We were set for him to be the guy for 2008 or at least Chip gave him the chance to compete for it but his play that year ranged from meh to steamy hot ass (specifically in the Purdue game that he almost lost us that year) which got him to split time with some dude named Jeremiah Masoli who ultimately took the starting job outright as the season progressed. Justin Roper transferred to Montana after 2008.

Embarrassing offensive performance, especially the turnovers. But also credit to UCLA defense for showing up

Our dense defense has been the biggest surprise of the year as in the last 15 years we have had several years where we actually were putting up 35 to 40+ points commonly but we just always had the worst defense imaginable
