Sounds dumb but the bill simmons interview sold me on him, he felt like someone who could actually connect with younger people, genuinely cares, and also has a good football mind.

I was at JMU through the switch from Cig to Chesney and Chesney is definitely so much nicer than Cig. Absolutely wonderful guy, even got a picture with him after we beat Troy in the championship last year.

Read an ESPN piece the other day about how Chesney hung up pictures with the names of the staff, like the lawn guy, maintenance, food, etc.

Shows a deep understanding of respect and attention to detail, he always treats everyone like extended family and that resonates.
