My God we suck ass, 8-4 is best case rest of season with 7-5 more likely.

I can’t wait to get an invite to some random shitty bowl and look totally disinterested in losing to some excited G6 school because that’s what happens now

I also wouldn't be surprised when a bunch of starters sit for the game and I wouldn't blame them

Moore should sit out the rest of the season if we lose next week

Lol, don't say that on our main sub, I have people calling me delusional for saying almost the same thing.

You’ll need a lot of luck to make a bowl game at all buddy

Honestly i hope we tank more games. I want a god damn coming of christ in the staffing room. Why we promoted internally as OREGON when we could have went and more than likely secured a veteran OC and DC is insane to me. NW got Chip Kelly, and you're telling me the best we could do was promote within?!

Now I'll give flowers to the defense and Chris Hampton, things to clean up. But they looked alive and the DL played their hearts out all game.

But Merhinger is a flop. He can't scheme, he can't make adjustments. We left Raiola in way too long and Brock Thomas came in and looked better by a damn runway

I would also love to see Terry gone. This line is all the recruits he's been building and they couldn't block a 5th grader

Our line has been so awful the past three years. And it feels it’s just getting worse. Constantly getting beat at the line over and over is always going to make your QB look awful because he’s having to hurry and try to get the ball out

Terry needs to be the first one tarmacked. His shitty coaching has been evident for years. The OC also needs to go but he is definitely being hamstringed by a useless OL.

Mehringer hasn't been great but I don't think today's game was on him. They even radically switched things up a few times and got productive on offense....until somebody other than Raiola turned the ball over.

Look at Ryan Day — he needed an OC and he got Chip Kelly and they won a national championship.

Then Chip goes to the Raiders and he promotes Brian Hartline who was an internal but has been in the OSU system for a lot of years and was Co-OC. Then he gets picked to be head coach at USF and Day goes and gets Arthur Smith who has just been OC for one of the greatest QBs of all time.

I love Lanning but he has done none of that

Yeah Nebraska, northwestern, and OSU are beating this version of this team

Don’t get to play the games on paper, unfortunately

Chip Kelly is probably drooling thinking about what he will do to this team

2

u/maninatikihut Oregon Ducks • Team Chaos 6d ago

Maybe. It's not our defense that's the problem.

2

u/BIRDSBEEZ Oregon Ducks 6d ago

Not today it wasn’t they were amazing. But is was in other games this season. I want to assume the defense finally cleaned things up but all it takes is one game for things to crash again. And if there’s one thing this team is this year its inconsistent

Yeah Nebraska, northwestern, and OSU are beating this version of this team

I can't tell you how much I hope that first loss prediction is accurate. Nothing against Oregon, but we could really use that win.

If it means we fire most of our staff and actually hire competent position coaches and coordinators id happily lose the rest of the season, except uw, this seasons already over so on to the next.
