Outside of a single offensive drive, Texas was awful that entire second half and OU actually made adjustments, so no real surprise with the outcome. Good job Sooners.

Correct. Everyone lost this game but Arch gave it away twice.

Given what Mateer has shown us so far this season, we can relate to that feeling.

Arch was better for your team than your own QB. This was tough to witness lol

Sadly this is true. OU mvp was Arch.

Don’t know where Arch’s legs were. In the second half of the Ohio State game he knew he couldn’t make big throws so he just kept running it. Pretty much turning into Tim Tebow

Yeah, he had multiple throws where he wasn’t even trying to step into it. Threw with completely open hips

That last pick was absolute cinema.

We got physically bullied on offense. The Sooners wanted it so much more badly. For all the scheming and talent, at the end of the day if you're not ready to go out and hit someone in the mouth for 4 quarters and get blood on your face, you're not going to win the game.

This feels like the story of RRR year. The underdog just wants it more

Sark needs to give up play calling.

Arch threw the costly picks in the 4th quarter. But Sark's "play calling" in that entire 2nd half was atrocious and kept the Sooners in it.

His play calling has gotten worse and worse every year. He tries to out smart everyone instead of letting our athletes win the game, he thinks he can win it on strategy and out smarting them

It’s really insane. Your Texas. Like at least 8/11 of your guys are almost always better than the other team’s

We went 3 and out like 4 drives in a row

It's clear whatever the game plan is, it's not working. We have no RPOs, no rolling the pocket, everything is some pre snap motion and then have Arch sit in the pocket and whiff on a downfield pass, or its an outside zone run play

Sark needs to hire an OC. Ryan Day refused to give up playcalling for years, finally relents and they win the natty immediately.

A good (or maybe I should just say talented?) team rarely loses because of only one thing.

And we saw that today.

He already came out and said “Not a chance.”

It was one of the first questions he was asked. Literally everyone thinks he should stop. He’s too arrogant to sit down and realize that he’s pretty fucking terrible at it. Especially in close games.

A lot of people had written Mateer off - and potentially with good reason - but he hustled today.

He's tough as nails and makes some improbable plays at times, but he's thoroughly mid as a passer.

Just played smart. All he's ever had to do.

It looked more like special teams/defense winning for OU rather Mateer doing anything

I'm kind of shocked because the last 2 years it was Texas crushing us with second half adjustments.

Not trying to take a dig, but hasnt that been the MO for most of their games so far?

Thanks for showing us how to blow a 10+ point lead in the 2nd half. We forgot how to do so this week -Beamer
