Satire Ruling Needed on the THE
The Traveling THE can finally be returned to Ohio State today with a win. So far they are 3-0 in attempts to regain their Holy Definite Article, but Indiana is by far the toughest game they have had to win back the THE.
Therefore a poll: if Indiana wins should there:
A. Be no change
B. Ohio is then stripped of "Ohio" and it gets paired with the THE until such time as they can track both down again

I think I speak for everyone here when I say please choose whatever will piss off Ohio State fans the most. Thanks.

I think punishing the Bobcats for us losing today doesn't really make sense.

This was an interesting bit of football lore that I had never heard of. I love it.
I vote B. The Indiana becomes The Ohio Indiana, and Ohio State just becomes a State University

B, because having to win back half their name seems like the most entertaining outcome.

No change. Nothing calamitous about losing to Cignetti

As hilarious as B would be, it has to be A since there's nothing calamitous about losing to IU these days. However, if AN Ohio State does not currently own the Holy Definite Article and they lose to Purdue or another equally calamitous opponent, then they should lose Ohio as well. The chain from that would be amazing. Either A State has to beat two different teams to make their name whole or another team manages to get both of them becoming THE Ohio <team>. Either scenario is a win.

If they ever get beat by a PAC 12 team they lose "State"
