I don’t think the narrative should be “2nd half implosion by Texas”

It really should be “what a 2nd half comeback by Florida!”

That was an unreal road win for a team with a first year head coach - and came in on a two-game losing streak.

Yeah, this really needs to be the story. This was the kid’s first start… on the road… against a top 10* team. What a play he made to ice the game.

Would not be upset to see him start vs Georgia, definitely gonna be a fun two weeks of speculation

He is certainly more explosive in the run game and has a bit stronger arm, but you can also see some of the decision making a bit better with Philo early on. I think Jones is the better longterm solution

Feel like decision is more likely to develop

We got our asses handed to us the last two weeks but we also had a lot of injuries. It doesn't discount how bad those losses were but these guys get a week off and hopefully can recover a bit. Staff is figuring out what they need to do when the key contributors are out and hopefully this was a sign of that.

We lack depth at some positions and other positions are just bad. We also had most of our receivers injured over the last two weeks which makes it harder for our run game to be dominant like it was to start the season.

I really hope these guys can get some much needed rest and are ready for Atlanta.

I knew Tramell would be a stud since he transferred to my team in CFB 26 and become a three year starter legend
