Firstly, Texas should be unranked after this loss. They have now lost to two straight unranked teams in back to back weeks. Secondly, Texas is in real trouble based on their upcoming schedule. They still have to play versus Ole Miss, versus Mississippi State, @ Missouri, @ LSU, and @ Texas A&M. A&M might end the season worse than 8-4 but it would be funny as hell to see Texas go 8-4 or worse.

It’s been that way for 40 years. I’ve always rooted for us to start unranked at beginning of a season because then we rise to the top.

Tonight was a new because we came from behind and hung in there.
