Cadillac pair Bluetooth with unresponsive cue screen?

Hi, I have a 2016 Cadillac CTS and my cue screen is unresponsive. Is it possible to use manual buttons to pair a phone via Bluetooth with an unresponsive touchscreen?

No. Gotta replace it. Go to cuescreens.com

Try holding the CUE power/volume knob for about 10 seconds to force a reboot, then use the steering-wheel voice button and say “Bluetooth” or “Pair phone.” If the system still won’t respond, the touchscreen digitizer is likely failing; the physical controls alone generally can’t finish pairing.

I have the common problem of the touchscreen delaminating and no longer working

If the phone hasn’t been paired before, probably not. The pairing process normally requires using the CUE touchscreen to open Bluetooth settings and confirm the PIN. Steering-wheel controls generally can’t initiate it. You may need to repair or temporarily replace the screen.

Yup that’s what I thought. Horrible design from the cadillac engineers
