Just Chatting Dude. I’m humiliated

I just accidentally left my underwear in a pile of clothes I gave to Uptown Cheapskate to sort through! I didn’t know it was there! Oh my god I don’t even know what to think right now what if they remember my face when I go back in another time?? And they were all rude teenagers who were already giving me the harshest side eye for taking so long with my friend to browse even though we weren’t loud, and put everything we didn’t want back. I’m just humiliated is all.

Has anyone else done this? Any similar stories at all?

Literally no one will give a fuck.

At worst they will exhale air through their nose slightly more forcefully than usual and move on.

You're overthinking it.

Relax, it's a funny story that you can share later, it's not like you were deliberately giving away dirty underwear. These people at UC have probably seen it all. And who gives a shit if they are laughing about you, we all get laughed at from time to time. Don't feel humiliated, humbled though is always good. Carry on, onwards and upwards!

They'll probably put them in a flag and chase eachother around the store with it shouting your name and laughing

Oh no, why did you leave clothes at the clothing donation place?

Some teenager is selling them on CL right now for $75.

Some kid is probably wearing them right now. Outside his pants.

Were they clean? No shame. They'll just think you don't know the rules of what to donate. They may already think you're stupid anyway if they are those kinds of teens who believe they are superior to all mankind, so you have lost nothing in their eyes.
