We recently celebrated 3 occasions in our extended family. It's a huge, tight-knit family, so naturally all the cousins and the cousins' kids are present.

Two of my nephews are roughly the same age. Two boys at 4yo, you'd expect them to be turning the place upside down. Nung kami yung bata, tuwing nagkikita-kita magpipinsan, pag nagsama-sama mga boys, ang saya tapos ang gulo grabe. But now that we're adults na, their kids naman are the complete opposite.

Their bonding? They exchanged iPads, played individually, and quietly sat in the corner. For the entire day. BRO WTF

Napaisip lang ako, dati mapipilitan ka talaga magkipag-socialize eh. Pag masama ugali mo = wala kang kalarong bata = boring = loser ka. So matututo na dapat pala, respectful, friendly. Pag 'di ka nagmano sa mga tito/tita mo, wala silang iaabot na 500 = dapat matuto mag sing and dance and converse with the adults.

We realised as kids that we NEED social skills to survive. Ngayon, optional na lang. I worry for the new generation of humans that will grow to be adults thinking interactions are unnecessary. I wouldn't wanna live in that kind of world

I needed a little break from work, so I booked myself a lovely hotel stay last weekend.

I ate a lot of good food! I’ve been in a calorie deficit for two months and have lost 7 kilos, so I figured I deserved a weekend where I could just enjoy all the food I wanted without overthinking it. I also made cinnamon rolls and mozzarella slime because my inner child deserves some fun. Hahaha! 😂

Ended the weekend by buying myself flowers. 💅 Spoiling myself is so much fun, and I’ll keep doing it over and over again. 🖤

Tho maliit lang pero nakakapikon ang delivery ng pagsabi niya na lumaki na ang presyo kasi parang pinagmumukha niyang ang slow ko at di agad nakita ang presyo meron nang tape. Sasabihan ko sana "nakaharang ang ulo mo at halos ang liit ng paglagay ng tape di na makita leche ka."

At dumating na ang pagkain - disappointed. Wala na yung lasa. Puro na din taba. Pati sabaw matabang. Ang liit na din ng pork. Wala na. JJ na. Di na worth it. Umalis ako nang malungkot at nakita ko yung unang baklang nakausap at mukhang nagegets niya yung pain ko.

Simula nun never na akong kumain sa kanila. Napapadaan pa din ako sa street nila kalimitan at di na gaano nagkakaroon ng tao. At after ng ilang weeks BAM sarado na! Nalugi ata! Di na tina-tao e!

Lesson learned: customer experience is the best investment if gusto niyong mas maging successful ang business niyo. Okay naman sa akin price increase ng kaunti pero putragis ayoko ko po mag QnA at pakiramdam nakikimataasan pa ako bago kumain! Sira na ang mood wala pa ang pagkain! Di ko lang din alam kung same experience ng ibang suki nila ang naranasan ko at reason ng di pagbalik pero pipikunin ka muna kasi. Hahaha.

Disclaimer, madami akong friends na bakla. Friendly ako sa kanila and sila din sa akin. Not giving the idea na pagbakla ang cashier or tagapangasiwa e lulugmok na. No no no. Maaaring outlier na bakla lang naranasan ko.
