She's fat, isn't she?

We've been feeding this stray cat, and I think we've over done it.

Are you sure she’s a stray?

It’s hard to tell from the photo if she’s overweight or not properly but she doesn’t look underweight by any means.

If she’s not a stray then she could be getting fed at home and giving you the eyes and getting more food, or if she’s a stray maybe multiple people are feeding her?

We've been feeding her for nearly 2 years now. When she first started coming round, she was very skinny, was brown rather than black (which means she was probably malnourished), and was limping quite badly. She wasn't being looked after. I posted on he local Facebook page for anyone who recognised her, and got no answers. So I'm content that she's a stray.

I love that you are enough to feed her, but if you know she’s a stray could you try and home her / rehome her? Food is one thing but all cats deserve a loving home ❤️🐈‍⬛

Oh bless her 🥺 such a lovely person you are to take such good care of her.

I didn’t know that their coat could change colour due to malnourishment so thank-you for that, every day is a learning day!

She’s just getting a little bit hardy ready for winter. In all seriousness this isn’t a good angle to tell, my cat looks so porky when she’s hunched but she’s fine when she’s standing up normally

How do you know that she's a stray cat? Could just be a cat who visits other people. Put a paper collar on with your phone number and ask is anyone owns her.

Don't feed other people's cats.
