Humor Anyone else's Claude suddenly started using "read-only" for anything that could involve a write? Mine has gone crazy lol

My guess is it's the model being extra explicit about what an action can touch, since a lot of people now run it with real tools connected and want to know before anything writes. That's useful when it's about to change something, but on a plain log read it's just noise. A line in your project instructions like "only call it out when an action writes, deletes, or sends something" might calm it down. Curious whether that works for anyone.

Look at your context and memories. Something in there is doing that, not the model.

We really went from "Honest answer, there is a caveat and it’s load-bearing" to "PLEASE DON'T FIRE ME I AM LITERALLY JUST LOOKING AT LOGS" in one update cycle.lol
