News Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion are in beta, and Docs/Slides/Design are now on the Free plan

In case you missed it, Anthropic dropped a few things a week ago. Quick rundown:
Claude Dashboards (beta, paid plans)
Connect your data platform (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, ClickHouse) or something like Salesforce, ask a question in plain English, get a dashboard. It stays current as the data changes, each chart shows when it was last refreshed, and you can click any number to see the query behind it. You can also push it to Grafana, PostHog, Mixpanel, Hex, Sigma etc. if you need deeper analysis.
Claude Motion (beta, Team and Enterprise only)
Type /motion, describe what you want, get a short animated explainer. Think "turn this quarterly report into a 30 sec video for all-hands." It's not a video gen model – Claude writes code that animates your text, charts and shapes, so you can edit any word or number. Exports to MP4, or open in Adobe, Runway, Descript etc.
Docs, Slides, Design – out of beta, every plan incl. Free
Team editing on the same doc/deck/design, sharing outside your org, PowerPoint/PDF exports that actually keep formatting, decks go to Google Slides as editable files, and mobile editing.
One heads up: the standalone claude.ai/design site is shutting down Dec 14 and folding into regular Claude. There's a migrate button for design systems, but chats and comments on standalone projects won't carry over, so save what you need.
Dashboards is the one I want to try. Anyone on Team already tested Motion? Curious if it's actually usable or just a demo thing.

Dashboards might actually get me to finally connect our Snowflake instance to something that isn't just me running SQL at 11pm. The live query preview when you click a number is a nice touch, half the battle with these tools is trusting the output.

Haven't touched Motion yet but every "type a prompt get a video" tool I've tried has been 90% demo 10% actual use, so I'm keeping expectations low until someone posts a real project.

You can basically build any tool that uses external data into Claude Dashboards. I am building my AI Operations support tool, with data coming from Supabase and Notion. Now tweaking my My Center with new features. When I use the application token budget is 0. Great new feature in Claude but just think outside of the box. It not just for viewing data from the common data platforms, it's a creativity tool.
