Help Wanted Driving school recommendations ?

I’m looking into MasterDrive Driving Academy and they seem reasonable. I searched this sub and found recommendations for it from 6 or 7 years ago. Checking to see if it is still good?

The Master Drive of today is a different company than the one of 6 or 7 years ago. They were purchased by a driving school out of Denver earlier this year.

I can't speak to Master Drive, only that when I was looking into it last year for my son, I saw a lot of negativity about them. We ended up going with Road Star and had zero complaints. The whole process was easy and reasonably priced, from learners permit education through the actual license test.

I just looked at their website it’s pretty straightforward. Much cheaper than masterdrive

Have had three kids do MasterDrive, including one just about to get his license.

No complaints except I think they need more staff - have to schedule on-street sessions way in advance.

The more expensive $999 program is worth it IMO for the all day camp that does defensive driving, skids, and higher speed avoidance. They charge like $700 for that day à la carte.

I’ve found with my kids they are more likely to listen to the instructor than me, which helps (I was the same way as a teen).

I can't speak to it now, but my son did Master Drive 23 years ago, and he still uses the skills taught there

All of our kids (3) went through Master Drive.
