Advice How to find contractors?

Where/what app do people usually use? Google? Yelp?

Looking to do plumbing+electric project work but I wanna call one contractor that can do both, not me calling different companies back and forth to coordinate, likely require permits and license so not just your regular landscaping general contractor. Not even sure what I should be searching in google

You’d probably want a General Contractor for that if you want one call to get both trade jobs done. Otherwise, you’d likely be better served calling a separate electrician and plumber.

So that’s what you’d want to google. I also have a list of contractors that may help out if you’d like.

Yes please! I assume they are all capable for this type of professional work? I called a few I found randomly but they seem to be more like landscaping construction manual work that doesn’t necessity require license or permits often, like their quote seen too low to account for that and didn’t seem like they know how to approach permits..

Yeah that doesn’t sound awesome haha. Shoot me a message and I’ll copy my list when I can!

A general contractor is who you would be looking for. They manage the trades, schedule, coordinate all of that.

So Google that? Or are there popular website or apps to search?

I own Jedi Builders here in the springs. You can call me if you would like, I am a GC. I can dm you my number. If its out of the scope of what I cover I know some other GCs that do really good work and are dependable.

Sure! The most immediate project we want to do is a washer/dryer hook up in baseline & cap the existing one upstairs. Hence both plumbing and electric involved

Sounds like you need a GC. Ive used first general services in the past for a basement remodel. They were very legit

For general work that you don't need to pull permits for try TaskRabbit
