Buying Blue or Green for Catra cosplay?
Found some colored prescription contacts I like. Trying to decide if the blue or the green looks best with the yellow for Catra. I’m leaning towards the green but idk if it’s too similar in tone with the yellow. What do you think?
I did also find some cat eye contacts, but they’re not prescription. I could take my glasses off for photos but 1 I feel like I’d keep forgetting and 2 I am basically blind without my glasses so I’d probably look like I’m staring into space in photos lol.

The top ones looks the closest to me, but if you can find a turquoise contact that'd be cool!

I looked but anything else close didn’t have a yellow in the same style. It would look off if the eyes were different styles. I’d rather have symmetrical eyes than absolutely perfect color matching.

Considering catra's eye is turquoise it's right in the middle of the two. In your reference catra's eye is leaning more to the blue, however her eyes are made to look unnatural (fictional cat charactery), and the green gives an effect more similar to that. So in my opinion that green suits a Catra cosplay better.

Good point about the unnatural look. I’m a natural blue, light blue, so the blue even though it’s brighter could look too close to “normal” on me.

I think the green is the best choice then, since the blue in your eye underneath could bring it closer to turquiose

Green, since cats are more likely to have green eyes, rather than blue. It gives a more cat-like feel to the cosplay.

Go with the green as it “scans” as catra better.
Also the model’s face has been shortened and it’s wigging me out

I mirrored the green and blue image so I could see it as the left eye. The put it together in a layout app. But yeah it’s close to “normal” but just off enough it’s a tad uncanny lol

I mean I just mirrored the green and blue product images from the website. Then I picked the yellow and green pictures, picked the layout that put them next to each other the right way, which happened to do 2 rows so I changed the left on the second row to the blue image. It just happened to blend them like this.

Go with the green. It's not quite as blue as Catra's eye, BUT. Her "yellow" eye is actually more of a yellow green than a true yellow. Relative to each other, the green and the yellow contact more closely resemble the character

True. The yellow isn’t quite the same, but it’s the closest I could find that has a prescription and the other color in the same style.

I would pick blue. The green is too green. The blue is closer to the cyan color of her actual eye than the green is

These are both virtually equidistant from her color.
Seriously though, I think it is going to depend on your skin tone. If your skin ton is more yellow, opt for the green. If your skin is paler and/or redder (like the model in these photos), opt for the blue.
Our eyes perceive colors in a very relative manner, and your skin tone will affect how the color is perceived a bit.

Are these pinky paradise lenses? I think I have both the blue and green one. I’d be happy to show you both in different lights if that would help you decide. I’ve got persona blue and persona green. Ideally something more teal would be best I agree, but if it’s between just those lenses I think the green?

I'd go with the green, cause the contacts show a little bit of your iris around the pupil, and your natural eye color blends in really well with the green one

It's essentially the middle between blue and green.
No wonder you can't decide. lol.
