Makeup How's my makeup?

Lekku arrived just in time

So i was able to do a quick run through with makeup

How's it look?

I added some contouring this to around, and deepened my eyebrows

Alas I cannot seem to get blush right, so I may have to give up on that this go around

The foundation looks so smooth and natural from the pictures. Maybe a lip liner to add some definition to the outside of the lips? A slightly darker blue/black/brown/purple perhaps?

Might add some deeper eye shadow, cause this was with my darkest pencils 😅

That would work! Maybe a pop of blue highlight to the cupids bow too! 🥰

Absolutely amazing! It’s so even and smooth. Along with the lip liner like someone said I think you could play around with some color variation. For example: you’re blue, try using some purple around your darker areas and green/yellow around your lighter areas. If true blue is the way you want to go however, I think you nailed it.

Ooooo so smoothhhhh.

Are you using a purple blush? It would match the undertones.

Contouring is good but you could do even more. Unnatural skin colors are going to need tons of carving to differentiate with that level of coverage.

Do your lekku ever rub against your cheeks/jaw? You should test that out with a prolonged makeup test if you haven’t yet. It probably needs a couple coats of sealer instead of a regular amount if they touch your face a lot.

I tried a purple/blue but it backfired so bad so I didn't even include it

And yeah this bad boy is so heavily sealed I got my translucent setting powder, and a couple coats of cheap hairspray (because weirdly that's nicer to my skin than alcohol setting spray) And that's holding for now

Seconding the part about the lekku rubbing paint off - I cosplayed a tiefling with kinda poorly secured (ram-like) horns recently that ended up rubbing against my face and they took my face paint clean off in the spots where they touched my face. Even well sealed paint still falls victim to friction

The colour matching and texture are excellent.

Amazingly smooth!

IMO it could use some heavier contouring though. There are two kinds of make up: one that looks good in person and one that looks good on pictures. In cosplay, always choose the pics! First, you have better keepsakes and second, a costume-y look is not frowned upon, but often even enhances the look

Girll how did you do that that’s amazing 😍

Aw tyty

I actually combined three different shades, white, blue, and pastel green (sunset makeup shades)

Then mixed, and distributed it via popsicle stick in a dot pattern across my face, then used a sponge to blend

Then I went back in with highlights and contours with the same method and Viola

I even made a lil recipe card/reference for myself

it looks so smooth!!! perfect application!!

it may just be the lighting but the contour is a bit hard to see, don't be scared to be super dramatic with it! lots of contrast would help this look I think but you look stunning

Is it bad that the colors are making me think of Squidward?

Shade is spot on but I would maybe up the contour color a bit more. It’s hard to see on camera

It might just be the photos, but I'd say add a little more dimension. Heavier contour and highlights can help your makeup look less flat, especially around the eyes! You can try layering eyeshadow to create a more 3d look around the eyes instead of just eyeliner.

how'd you paint the little green hearts on your eyes

Edit: i may be an idiot
