Need advice for Carrie dress

Hey, I’m going as Carrie for King Con. I found the perfect dress for Carrie. The fabric is satin. I don’t want to add too much to the outfit since it’s already kind of red and pink. I was thinking about adding a little bit of fake blood on the bottom and some splotches on the top. Any advice on products for cheap fake blood that works on fabric?

if you’d like, it should take well to being partially dipped in red rit synthetic dye! you could just dip the bottom of the dress in and it should “bleed” (haha) a bit up the fabric.

there are plenty of fake blood options but they can get a bit pricey and not all of them are permanent for clothes! this way your fabric would stay the right color and wouldn’t get smeared on anything around you :) have fun at your con!!
