Had they simply reversed it, it would have been perfect.

Precisely what I came here to say

I expected someone would have commented that by now. So I came here to say "Precisely what I came here to say" so this sub-comment is precisely what I came here to say

You mean the art of a Subway sandwich was within me this whole time?

Indeed. Do note that it's important to take pride in your work.

Then 'Your masterpiece' points straight to the toilet, which feels pretty accurate about 45 minutes after eating.

I agree.

"they" as in the photoshop artist?

This is what their slogan looks like: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheGoodPlace/comments/etumn0/our_local_subway_just_renovated_and_i_expected_it/

And this is what their logo looks like:

There is something called spatial graphics used as environmental design for signages or just aesthetics in retail, offices, restaurants etc. This is probably done in one of the stores as a part of spatial branding. The company probably hires 3rd party firms to design and build them but this was still approved and done by someone.

Like this example

theyre embracing "my brother in Christ you made the sandwich" as official company policy

Our ingredients, your masterpiece, bug zapper, toilets, fire extinguisher.

It's really a work of art.

I can’t imagine there are many good places to put this logo.

The Spyro image was right...

Don't think I've ever seen a Subway or any other businesses with a sign on the door that just said "toilets". Willing to bet this is faked.

There’s an entire world outside the US 😉

1

u/FatalErrorOccurred 1h ago

But this is in English, so obviously it's meant to be in the U.S.

Also, it wouldn't be an entire world if it's outside and not including the U.S., now would it?

/s, if not obvious.

And it’s definitely AI - no American wall outlet has ever looked like that.

10

u/rexy8577 2h ago

Definitely AI. The wall covering and the words are real. Arrows were added by AI

9

u/EmilyAnne1170 2h ago

Yup. Google images shows several pics of walls with this tile and lettering, but this is the ONLY one that includes the arrows. Which don’t match the arrows in any other Subway branding.

Toilet sign could be faked too. If it’s supposed to be in the US it doesn’t meet ADA standards, and it’s really easy to find real signs that do.

The power outlet the bug zapper is plugged into indicates Australia or New Zealand. The Toilets sign doesn't compromise any Australian building code I'm aware of.

Also the text on the fire extinguisher isn't making any sense, even if I assume it's blurred by distance.

u/-TheRook 1h ago

Not AI, I saw it in person

4

u/LogicalConstant 2h ago

I think it's the "toilets" sign that's fake

1

u/oncemorewithpheline 2h ago

thanks for pointing that out, i agree. no bathroom has a sign like that. and the perspective is off

Refreshing honesty

Crappy design or... truth in advertising? 🤔

3

u/Hugh_Jampton 3h ago

They're not wrong

3

u/skintigh 3h ago

Literally crappy

3

u/pablo_in_blood 3h ago

If the directions were reversed, it would be perfect

2

u/zakupright 3h ago

Our ingredients…straight from the shitter

0

u/PhantomJavert 3h ago

It's a good design

1

u/lynx_1097 2h ago

check the door

1

u/Klutzy_Passenger_486 3h ago

If it was mirrored would be riotous laughter

1

u/AmputeeHandModel 2h ago

Bathroom aside, they're saying their ingredients and our masterpiece don't meet?

1

u/PyreDynasty Reddit Orange 2h ago

Accurate

1

u/Yaughl 2h ago

At least they’re honest

1

u/Prior_Tax8546 2h ago

I thought the door was an entrance to the kitchen

1

u/BrianScottGregory 2h ago

LOL. This one made me laugh.

1

u/Major-Tension-674 2h ago

If you stay there long enough technically it’s correct.

1

u/Silent_Soul 1h ago

Totally agree that this is crappy design but if I saw this irl I would laugh my ass off

The best way to hide a thing is in plain sight.
