I am 23 years old and currently live with my parents. I graduated recently with zero student debt and plan to work for another year before moving out.
I have no consumer debt and about $200,000 of investments. With about 80% in retirement accounts or currently locked up and 20% in non-retirement accounts.
Since I live at home, I don’t know what my true monthly expenses are and I’m not sure how much I should save up for an emergency fund.
I’ve created a budget based on my salary for when I move out, should I just multiply that by 6?
Happy to hear your advice.
