I don’t know if Riot can copy what valve has created with Deadlock. The atmosphere and setting so what I think makes deadlock so enjoyable. Yes the gameplay is amazing and the moba aspects are great but I just don’t think riot will even try to copy valve and make a deadlock clone. What is all y’all’s thoughts.

i dont think they care to compete with deadlock, League is doing well and is very different when compared to deadlock to where itll exist with no issue.

league isn't really doing all that well, it's got a healthy playerbase by way of being an incredibly popular game for a decade, but the appeal is starting to fall off, the community has overall shrunk over the past few years, updates are stagnating and of increasingly mixed reception, esport scene everywhere except the east is dying, and worst of all they're struggling to get players to stick with the learning curve of the game's mechanics, to the point where they pulled the ripcord and added WASD

even riot is aware of how much it's struggling as they've shifted gears to support valorant's scene more

right now their only hail mary is the total overhaul to the visuals and client they have prepared for like some time next year

Show me any quantifiable proof that league isnt doing "all that well" give me numbers and facts to support your false claim if you want it to be taken seriously.

Community hasnt shrunk, numbers dont support that.

Esports scene is literally growing in NA this year alone, numbers support that. (thats the west btw)

There was no ripcord to pull for WASD, they added an accessibility option, who cares lmao

Riot has backed off of valorants scene this past year a bit actually, put more into LCS and LEC than anything else. This just shows me that nothing you are saying is supported by quantifiable facts... lmao
