Deadlock has 80 heroes now. The last 16 had global aoe cc ultimates of course, it's a requirement now for a character to be competitive with the rest of the roster.

I leave the shop and jump on the zip, as I try to leave the base I hit a mountain range planted in the doorway, tectonic's 2 ability. I jump off, hit it with two heavy melee's, and jump back on the zip. I slide out the base, big mistake, my entire team is immediately sucked up into the sun, Gravity must have popped her ult and we weren't underground. After 6 seconds we get slammed back into the map, before we stand back up the rest of the enemy team pops ult. Reaper's ult sends my arms and legs flying off giving me "limbless" status for 4 seconds, Rem's ult puts us to sleep, and then Lewis's ult teleports our team to a mall in Ohio. I die before I escape the clothing store. I didn't get a chance to shoot anybody.

Enemy team gets midboss, pushes our base and wins. My team flames me, "why did you leave base without unstoppable turned on". "Sorry" I said, "it's my third game I'm still learning the items".

I've been seeing weird takes about Violet since the voting began, and while I can't place it, I feel like a lot of people's arguments around her are rooted in misogyny, racism or both. I understand and agree with the critique that her backstory and motivations need more sauce but I think there's some people hiding their prejudices underneath the guise of criticism.
