Discussion A tweet that has me thinking.

I don’t know if Riot can copy what valve has created with Deadlock. The atmosphere and setting so what I think makes deadlock so enjoyable. Yes the gameplay is amazing and the moba aspects are great but I just don’t think riot will even try to copy valve and make a deadlock clone. What is all y’all’s thoughts.

I am not talking about league I am talking about them shutting riot from trying to make a dumbed down copy of deadlock like the rest of their games

If you want to be honest about this, Valorant is 100% more complex than CS. This destroys your entire argument alone lol

not really , gunplay and movement is way worse than CS and and it isnt a good hero shooter cuz it tries to play like CS so they just made a knock off CS and a knock off Hero shooter where it dosent exceed at either of them which make it just a mediocre mess with identity crisis.

The abilites (outside of the same utility CS grenades which is like half the abilites if not more) are basically a distraction to the actual gameplay most of the time which is Gunplay where encounters end in the span of a fraction of a second, adding stuff to say its more complex = good and if you think people say Dota is better than LoL cuz its more complex then you are also wrong , Dota is indeed more complex but the reason its better because of the way it plays and the way the systems that makes it complex are implemented.

i played both valorant and lol for hundreds of hours and i found both dota and CS gameplay to be way more fun, when i played valorant its movement and gunplay felt horrible from the get go and i have not touched CS or an FPS in literal years when i did start it.

Worse is a word coming from nothing but your opinion. Many people would disagree. Your entire response is opinions and will be discarded as such.

This entire response of yours is opinionated and provides nothing quantitative to support either examples being more or less complex.

Val is more complex than CS: fact.

Worse is the general Opinion that is seen from everyone that played both its not just mine.

implementing stuff badly just to say something is more complex isnt the same as it being good or better, DL mogs both games in term of complexity yet its so good because all of its systems are implemented in such a good refined way that makes all of these systems that are close to impossible to work together ..well work together and riot wont ever be able to do that, at the end of the day the base gameplay is what matters and CS mogs the absolute hell out of valorant in that regard if it wasnt the game wouldnt of been pushing 30 years and still be one of the biggest if not the biggest game on the planet while having no change whatsoever to it other than graphical updates lol

Its the opinion of those that you surround yourself with, im sure. The general human desire is to be around like minded people, does this surprise you?

Noone is commenting on "good" or "better" those are very subjective terms. Complexity can be derived objectively. Which it is, Val is more complex than CS.

Whether or not Deadlock is more complex than league? eh, objectively its just not. Not in any sense.

I love deadlock, im in eternus, i have a blast with the game. Im by no means saying its bad. It definitely has its issues though. Just like any other game.

CS requires a third party software to even remotely have fair competitive matches? you see no issue in that? lmao

its the Opinions of people i saw randomly all over the internet , i am not in either riot or valve reddit subs nor do i interact with any of them anywhere else other than deadlock lately, its all info i've seen literally randomly on YT,reddit and twitter and its almost always the same and coming from pro players more so ,hell i've seen more of valorant people than CS around saying the same thing.

the last time i even searched anything related to valorant was a few years ago when i tried to play it and i've had no reason to look for anything CS related and have not in like a decade so yeah i am sure i have so many like minded people i surround myself in especially when i didnt touch these games in years non the less their communities lol

anyway i am bored of this and it seems you just love repeating the same thing over and over again...well color me surprised a LoL/Riot fan love having the same thing on repeat who would of guessed lol.

over blowing it much arent you lol eitherway i'd rather have a third party software than a kernel level program fucking my PC up.
