Discussion A tweet that has me thinking.

I don’t know if Riot can copy what valve has created with Deadlock. The atmosphere and setting so what I think makes deadlock so enjoyable. Yes the gameplay is amazing and the moba aspects are great but I just don’t think riot will even try to copy valve and make a deadlock clone. What is all y’all’s thoughts.

True but if you think Riot will just sit there and do nothing while Deadlock flourishes in its own new genre that it created then boy do I have news for you.

i think you vastly overestimate how much riot cares about this. League is insanely far beyond what deadlock will become, deadlock wont even come close to the numbers league has any time soon if at all.

Nah, Riot would for sure make a Deadlock clone if it saw Valve makes bank with it, just like every other Riot game has been a response to capitalize on other games ideas with their superior marketing approach

Nah, they already have league. Deadlock is a 3 person shooter skin on top of league. I love deadlock. But lets not be obtuse here lol
