I mean, since it’s essentially confirmed we won’t get any new heros this year, I’m hoping this update changes a lot gameplay wise. If not, it could be a stale rest of 2026 for Deadlock.

we got new heroes In Februrary. At some point they need to flesh out the missing parts of the game vs releasing new content, fine if this is the patch that does it and brings most of the game up to standard with the newer content.

They can do both, especially since this will be by far the longest we have went without a big update.

Old gods changed the map a ton, with a bunch of QOL, while still getting a new batch of heros, so.

Animations are significantly harder that static updates. They have around 5 or 6 heroes to remodel on top of the jungle camps + midboss. This alone is way more work than the February update. This is on top of the rumored shop rework.
